Taking the step to start counselling is a brave decision, and one which you may have thought about doing for some time.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Whether you have something specific that you would like to talk about, or if you are unsure of what exactly is going on but something ‘just doesn’t feel right’, then rest assured you are in the right place. We can take the time to talk these feelings through together, for you to find an understanding which will enable you to move forward. Working together, at your pace, we can pay attention to all of your story – even the most difficult parts – so that we can start to understand you on a deeper level, whilst you learn to accept yourself in the process. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It helps to talk freely and in confidence with someone whose life and relationships are separate from yours. With impartial help to express yourself, clarify your thoughts and feelings and review your ideas, decisions and beliefs, it becomes easier to make sense of what is happening. It then becomes possible to find new ways of being which better suit who you truly are.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
